Usama Hindiyeh (President)
I am super excited and honored to be this year president. I have raced for our team for two years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am finishing my undergraduate studies this year in Bioengineering/Premed w/ a Global Heath minor. When I am not riding my bike or studying/in the lab, I enjoy getting into philosophical debates with clueless hipsters and viewing independent foreign cinema, such as Cidade de Deus, Intouchables and more. I also enjoy listening to music of most genres, but Radiohead is clearly the best band of my generation. :)

Ben Sarno (Men’s Road Captain)
This will be my second season as captain, which verifies nothing more than the fact that anybody can do this job. Still, I am honored to captain such a great team. I am a transfer student in the middle of my undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering. I love to travel, especially when my bike comes with. I’m not one for TV, but I enjoy a good movie or good music from all eras and genres. That’s right I’ll sing me some Sonny and Cher with the best of em’!! I’m really looking forward to a great year of long car rides, COLD mornings, and over packed hotels. So remember, no matter where you are or who you’re with, if you’re in the saddle, ride hard… you might win!

He’s looking forward to continuing UCSD’s tradition of putting on one of the best road races in the country, Boulevard, and hopes that Ben Sarno and Usama Hindiyeh won’t put more than 15 minutes on him during the climb….
