Track Races

The UCSD Cycling team hosts a number of track races at the San Diego Velodrome under the auspices of the San Diego Velodrome Association. We’re excited to be the only team to host USAC sanctioned keirins that count towards upgrade points.

This year on August 26th and 27th, we’re excited to be hosting the WCCC track championships; which will take part of the San Diego Track Cup.

Races will be hosted at the San Diego Velodrome. Hope to see you on the track!

Date: August 26th to 27th

UCSD took home multiple golds at the WCCC Track Championships this year! Katherine Nadler took first place for the Women’s Omnium, Drew Ceccato took first for the Men’s Omnium, and our team took first in the Coed Team Sprint! So proud of our team! Home track advantage for the win!

Thanks to all that came to help, cheer, and race! Also thanks to our amazing sponsors Eliel Cycling and Rudy Project!

Boulevard Road Race

We are currently looking for a new location to host Boulevard. This page serves as a memorial for the late and great Boulevard Road Race.

The Annual  Boulevard Road Race is held in February in the Boulevard/Campo/Live Oak Springs area of east county San Diego.  Boulevard is one of the first road races for the Southern California bicycle racing season.  It offers a challenging 22-mile loop with rolling hills and almost 1500 ft of elevation gain per lap.

Weather in recent years has been excellent (but chilly), yielding an astounding, annual rider turnout of over six-hundred.  Each year, UCSD Cycling and volunteers from the local cycling community put on a successful race to kick off the collegiate racing season.

Start Location/Staging Area: 1800 Golden Acorn Way, Campo, CA 91906
